Yes, it definitely has the feeling of a wood engraving piece.

Really beautiful work!!! I think it looks very much like a wood block print. There's one little thing that may help it look even more real: I'm not 100% sure, but if it was really printed on wood block, the carving lines wouldn't scatter across the line where two colors touch, but they would more likely create a separate line there...does that make sense? (I may be way off base, but that's the only area that looked digital to me!)
ReplyDeleteI agree it looks like a wood block print. And it has so much storytelling in it. Is he running from something, or waiting for something? The composition is really nice.
