I seem to be developing a liking to Magpies. They are really cool birds and really fun to design. I learned that some of them like to collect shiny objects to impress potential mates. So I was a little inspired by that. It was a fun quick illustration.

ReplyDeleteThe colours are fantastic! Do you know the animated feature "the little mole". It's from Tchecoslovakia (70ies). There's a episode with a magpie that steals a shiny star from the little mole (i'm mentionning it because the illustrations in this feature are also magnificient).
